Platform overview

Magic.ai is a subscription-based AI aggregation platform: end users pay one subscription and get access to many AI models (text, image, video, audio) from many providers — OpenAI, Google, Kling, MiniMax, ElevenLabs and more — behind one product.

All amounts are in BDT (Bangladeshi Taka). Money values are stored in poisha (1/100 BDT), so priceCents: 99900 = ৳999. Provider costs are converted from the upstream USD price at 1 USD = 130 BDT.

How money flows

End user pays plan price ──► Magic.ai
Magic.ai pays providers ──► per-request cost (metered per provider account)
Net margin = plan revenue − provider cost − payment-gateway fee (2%) − overhead (8%)
(tracked live on the Plans page and the dashboard)

Three levers control profitability:

  1. Plan pricing & grants — what a subscriber pays vs. how many requests / image / video credits they get.
  2. Model provider pricing — the real upstream cost per unit, used for cost-to-serve and margin math.
  3. Provider account budgets — hard caps that stop any provider account from overspending.

Key concepts

TermMeaning
ProviderAn upstream AI company (OpenAI, Google, Kling, …). Registered once.
Reseller accountOne API key/credential at a provider. A provider can have several — traffic is distributed by weight. This is where your costs happen.
ModelOne AI model (e.g. openai/gpt-4o-mini). Belongs to a provider. Can be ACTIVE / BETA / DISABLED. Its pricing = real provider unit cost.
PlanA subscription tier sold to end users (price, interval, limits, allowed models).
Credit packA one-time top-up purchase — grants requests / tokens / image / video credits to the wallet. No recurring billing.
CreditsWallet balance: plans and packs grant credits; each request consumes them by count (1 image = 1 image credit, 1 video = 1 video credit).
WorkspaceA team of users sharing one subscription (enterprise deals).
